Why isn't there some user friendly instructions on how to use Boinc Manager and Seti@home for newcomers?

These instructions might help. It took me a lot of looking and reading and still I did not have everything needed to support S@H on a linux box. I have not posted this procedure on this site because I have not had anyone read it/try it. If someone would provide feedback with respect to accuracy, errors etc. I would appreciate it. I have no problem posting here or in another thread but would like to be sure of the accuracy of the procedure before posting here and creating more confusion should I have introduced errors.
