I just installed the BOINC Client on my system. but the client gets no work from the server. Why??? Does anybody else has this prob? Or an answer? Now it's waiting 10 minutes until the next try. When i update, the message is displayed that my last try to communicate was too recent. ??? What???

When you use the "Help Desk" you can use the "Most recent answer first" sorting function. This is the most interesting way to see if other people have the same problem.
Or, try next time to do a keyword search.

There is indeed a problem in distributing WU's. There is too much load on the server in Berkeley the last days.

This is in order not to overload more the server. It is a build in feature of the software. Don't worry or panic. Just shut down temporarily the software or use under "File" the "Disable Boinc network access" in order not to overload the server and try getting WU's in a couple of hours.
