If the universe is still expanding then time should actually speed up since the distribution of matter will present a diluted influence on the ticking of a "clock". The evidence that the universe is expanding at an increasing rate hinges on the fact that light is shifted a certain amount due to the doppler shift. For me it is more palatable to look for other explanations why light loses energy ( i.e. frequency shift) other than the doppler effect as it travels untold miles to reach us from the far reaches of the universe. |

Since big bang theory there is one crazy theory released per year like 3d universe is holograph, universe is located inside a black hole or time stops etc's hopefully one of them shoots into bulls eye in the near future. Mandtugai! |
