From your previous post and your current post I see a very real anti US line you are taking. I cannot fathom why you'd choose to point fingers. All you need to do is look in your own backyard to see the corruption. How else could a KGB agent retain power in Russia. The old fashioned way. Rigging them.

That aside I really don't see the point of whether the Uranium was US German Russian or Angolan. The nuclear reactor in Fukishim..Fuci.. Japan worked fine the design flaw was the diesel engines designed to pump water in emergencies were flooded. Had the engines been put on higher ground nothing close to what happened would have. It was a freaking earthquake and Tsunami that caused the reactor to crash and burn, Not stupidity.

Twas stupidity, but that is beside the point. You can only design for the foreseeable. You can't design for idiots.

The important part is to find out how the plant was doing from the time it started shaking there until the about half hour later when the first wave came. If everything was fine and dandy then we know we can design a plant to withstand a big honking earthquake. Very important to know this as it is very hard to arrange a full scale test.

As to the wave, that was stupidity. Historical records indicated larger than the design height wave. No excuse for that stupidity. We do know how to design against waves, so just make sure that the plant can withstand 50% bigger than historical or geologic events at the location and you have safety.

I think he is delusional in the matter of US Government control of the press. He doesn't realize what a bunch of bumbling idiots are we have. They don't have any control and when they try it always blows up in their face. The US Government is unable to exert any control over the press. Proof is how often the embarrassing crap comes out. Heck even tricky Dick who hated the press couldn't get Watergate swept under the rug, and did he ever try. Pentagon papers got published. Heck just last week the NY Times blew open a story that has Congress calling for blood, damn near literally in treason charges.

The press is not the lap dog of the US Government. Unlike most everywhere else in the world where the press is the lap dog of the Government, hard to fathom for some.
