Now for the move away from java and flash, asap, please.

(Crap, I guess that means changes for wordpress templates in the not too distant future.)

In late 90s I've built a few small websites mostly by Netscape editor maybe that was html-1.

If they release simplistic html5 editor then I'll try.

netscape and altavista. I remember the good-ol days.

And origil. people don't build from raw html usually. Nowadays people use templates. :-) complex database driven softwares. Sure there's coding involved, but it's not like back then when you built a page off of raw HTML

Maybe you had netscape editor experience because that is almost like working on ms-word thing not raw coding. Maybe a few times you use notepad to fix some simple html codes.
