Why does BOINC show this message when I try to get stats via boincview (http://boincview.amanheis.de/)? Original entry in log: GUI RPC request from non-local address 0xac130d02 I have a local network with IP-addresses in the range of 172.19.13.0 with subnet mask /24. |

I have searched the inet and I found that it will depend on the -allow-gui-rpc flag. How is it possible to activate this on windows versions? |

Stop the service, and start with the flag. Unfortunately, this flag is not sticky. I believe that BOINC has to store this value someplace for usethe next time that the service is started. |

OK thanx for your answer, but I think I've forgotten to say that i want to enable this flag in the normal GUI Version of boinc, not on the command line client. greets kokett |
