10.6.7/MacBook pro early 2011: Unknown app name in app_info.xml

G'Day, just installed BOINC on the new MacBook Pro (15'') with Mac OS X 10.6.7 and received in red the error message: Message from server: Unknown app name in app_info.xml What's that ? Tnx for help |

No, nothing on the mac found like app_info.xml (or app_info.*) BR |

Did you specifically check SETI's folder, or did you do a spotlight search? The BOINC data folder is in Library, which is probably not indexed by Spotlight. /Library/Application Support/BOINC Data/projects/setiathome If you have an app_info.xml file, it will be in there. Both of your Macs are using anonymous clients, so I'm guessing there should in fact be an app_info.xml file. |
