There are too many of us experiencing this for it to be a problem with our computers or individual Isp's.
I suspect a software upgrade will soon be here

The problem with the missing file can both be the result of a problem on the client end during the uploading process or the back-end when the server "hangs" and/or crashes with the file system taking a hit.

In either of those two cases, the result data file can "go missing" and the error is detected; with the consequences that you don't get rewarded.

In SETI@Home Classic these types of errors also occured and none of us were happy about it then either. I won't say that it is still early days to avoid the spoiled fruits and vegies thown my way ...
