> Hmm... ya need to check with Nostradamus first. Or maybe Skynet becomes self-aware and Governor Arnold finds us a nuke-proof cave to hide in. Nostradamus ! I am a specialist of the Catrin. Here is what it says for the next 4 years. New attack in the US. Bush invades (because he has to)Hum... Iran, Israel get attacks by all muslims, Israel nukes some of them, In france the 6 millions muslims are pissed and start to fight with the jews, Chirac is not happy and protest at the UN, Europe became pretty unstable and Bush sends carrier in arround the med and north sea, Chirac get pissed, Nukes Algeria and send 250000 troops to Guam (don't ask me why) Bush invade europe, but a lot of soldiers dies because of the British and German food. The russian tries to Nukes the US but there system isn't working anymore, so they send troops Afganistan (just for fun) North Korea invade south Korea so bush has to send troops over there too, India and Pakistan destroy each others, At the end there is only one country intact, CANADA. Since there is nobody left in the US to protect the country, Canada invade the US and become the next world empire. Good nignt. |

But I would never change my Canadian and French passport for an American one. It would need to have at least 100000 dollars in it... |

Well I guess Bin Laden still remains the RepugliKKKans best friend, thanks to his last minute voter drive video. I just hope when AlQaeda does their next 9/11 they hit the "red states" this time. And 11 states passed laws against gays, how Taliban-esque. What a sad time for America. |

I'm glad I moved from the US two years ago! It's still sad to see my homeland tumble down into a den of stupidity, zealotry, and fear. Being an expat is a good option, it may be tough getting a job, work permit etc. There's always the grad school option in a foreign country too. |

well I'm sure Bin Laden is quite happy to have done his part (again) in helping the popularity of his old friends, the Bush family. I'm sure he'll get a nice bonus at the next Carlyle Group board meeting from Bush's dad. |

The worst part is that the Republicans that I did vote for lost miserably. |

Your country needs you !!! How would it become if all intellectuals leaves the country in the hand of those [Texas Gun Slingers]... The only hope I hold out is what Enrique Pinti once said: "Corruption is a bad habit of all humanity - It has always existed and always will. And it is for that reason that it is far better to have a corrupt democracy because you can get rid of the corruption by not voting [him] in, whereas a corrupt tyrant [dictator] you can't get rid of until the devil takes him." I'll give these guys 9 mo.... If you really wants to leave then I might propose you to Come to CANADA !!! (Quebec) Real LIBERTY, free social insurance for all, peace and comfort, higher education, less crimes, free medical and drugs (quebec), free and legal abortion, soon legalised marijuana, Gun control, gay mariage, etc...A country loved and respect by the whole world. It's crossed my mind. Very often. OR Come to FRANCE !!! REAL LIBERTY, free social insurance for all, peace and comfort, much much much higher education, less crimes, free medical and drugs, free and legal abortion, soon legalised marijuana, Gun control, etc...Plus nice food and open mind people. A country loved and respect by the whole world (exept USA...) Mon Fracais est merde. I am not being serious of course. Am I ? I wish I didn't have to be... |

Kerry concedes election to President Bush... That was the best thing to do for the democrats and for all Americans. The country is clearly divided but Bush wons, that's democracy. A recount in Ohio wouldn't have done any good to anyone. I just hope Bush had learned a few lesson from Irak, and that he is ready to really works with European leaders. I think Europe won't be as patient with him during his second term... |

Petit, are you kidding? The psychotic neocon RepugliKKKans will take this is a 100% mandate to do anything. You can expect "4 war years", Supreme Court appointments of right-wing ideologues that will overturn Roe v. Wade (abortion) and practically make gays hunted down and shot as a "NRA sport." If you thought the last 4 years was bad "you ain't seen nothing yet." now, it probably won't really affect us living in Europe & Canada, but we'll get to witness the dead & maimed. |

LOL I do agree on that. I have wrote it earlier that WW3 was to start in the next 4 years. At the same time I think this election was more like a "Bush" referendum, and It came pretty close to pass. It is also his last mandate. Usualy presidents wants to leave something good behind. The situation in Irak is so bad that he will have to hand it over to UN and world community. He just can't affoard loosing there, and that's precisely what is going to happen if he don't manage to bring other strong ally in the process of Irak. He will have to be less arogant and closer to France, Germany, Canada, etc. The only thing I am affraid is if there is another terrorist attack. Who will he blame and attack then ? I also find very strange that Osama appeared on TV 4 days before election Knowing that it would help Bush. When you look at it, knowing all the friendly relationships between the Bush and the Laden, one can really wonder if Osama is not actually "working" for GWB... 9/11 Was certainly a sad day for Americans, but a very good one for Bush and his war mongers. They had been given the best oportunity to do what they wanted to do for many years in Irak for all the reasons we can suspect. Isn't funny or strange that Osama is still at large after 3 years ? Are the Bush administrations really hunting him ? Time will tell, but unfortunately innocent people will continue to die before the "real" truth behind all this is being discovered. |
