System is Win. XP. BOINC is latest version (just checked).

It downloads work (when some is available) and completes it. However, when trying to upload the results I get these messages:

SETI@home - 2004-06-29 08:13:21 - Sending request to scheduler: http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/cgi
SETI@home - 2004-06-29 08:13:21 - Started upload of 01ja04aa.20627.13216.947164.124_2_0
SETI@home - 2004-06-29 08:13:27 - Error on file upload: can't open file: %s

I don't know if the %s is just a programming error in the failure print statement, or if its a programming error in that it really is trying to open a file called %s.

The end result, however, is that no results are getting uploaded.

I tried removing and re-installing BOINC - no difference. This isn't a network problem, a Linux machine on the same subnet is uploading its results with no problem.

Anyone else see these problems on WinXP ??

Please use the sort function "most recent answer first" when jumping to a forum. You will find it at the upper right part of the page.

You will see that a lot of people are in the same situation.
There is a problem of software on a server in Berkeley, apparently only with XP (?)

Greetings from Belgium.

I get this screen when I jump to the help desk. "Most recent answer first" as you can see can be selected.

Do you have the same?

Greetings from Belgium.
