This is the first I've seen, and it's on my G5.

What makes it High Priority, and does it calculate differently from regular WUs ?

Thanks

High priority means you got a work unit that's close to the deadline. It means Boinc will not share time with any other project or work unit till it gets finished. When the work unit is done things will return to normal and time owed to other projects will be repaid. You tend to get more when you run a slower system or you are set to keep many days of work on hand.
I suspect most everybody gets one from time to time so it's nothing to worry about.
