It might say it is zero but I have a lot still pending that are valid - validator shows as up - why still pending I wonder? <a href="http://www.boincstats.com/"><img src="http://www.boincstats.com/stats/banner.php?cpid=1ef069d7d80bdfd029a3c67ee00631ca" border="0"></a> |

Same to me, still have several results pending. Well lets wait and see a few days. Lots of problems the last days have gone. Everything will hopefully be reported soon. Greetings from Darmstadt - home of ESOC All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream. |

> It might say it is zero but I have a lot still pending that are valid - > validator shows as up - why still pending I wonder? > There is a large amount of wu's that are still pending for many including me due to not having 3 results returned. I have quit a few from days and weeks back that are still showing Unsent to get that 3rd result. Many of these that need to be resent are most likely from the problems that we have had with failed downloads, failed uploads and version changes where people have had to reset the project, etc. ----------<br> <img src=\"http://boinc.mundayweb.com/seti2/stats.php?userID=924&trans=off\"><br> <a href=\"http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/team_join_form.php?id=30199\">Join</a> the <a href=\"http://ocforums.com\">Overclockers.com</a> SETI Team! |

Results with 0 has already been tried validated, so will never get anything else for these. The "pending" on the other hand is normally waiting for other results being returned or new results needs to be sent out, so then atleast 3 "success" results is returned these will be tried validated. |

What is "Validate state = Check skipped" Will the validator check it again? Why it is skipped? |

The credit is the lower of the two. It was originally 3 returns over in Beta but that was changed a while ago. Normally the credit allocated will be the lower of the two returned. If the validator has been off and there are three results in, I believe that the middle one is taken. The Pending status normally means that it is just waiting for the validator to confirm the results. <a href="http://www.boincstats.com/"><img src="http://www.boincstats.com/stats/banner.php?cpid=1ef069d7d80bdfd029a3c67ee00631ca" border="0"></a> |

I have 108 still "pending" ... some as far back as 18-Jul. The 18-Jul was issued 6 times and has 3 "over ... success ... done ... pending" entries claimimg 26.39, 27.11, and 39.00 credits. shouldn't these be "validated" or are there other indications that there is a problem? EdwardPF |

Does this mean if two results are compared and validated that both of the crunchers get the lower credit of both granted?? If soo please never let me be compared with high speed machines :-))) All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream. |

I've just been going over some of my results and I have some where the granted credit is nothing like any of those returned - I think the results database is buggered. <a href="http://www.boincstats.com/"><img src="http://www.boincstats.com/stats/banner.php?cpid=1ef069d7d80bdfd029a3c67ee00631ca" border="0"></a> |

No, these results will never be checked again, and therefore no credit given. > Why it is skipped? > Most likely due to too many error-results, but can also be because of too many "success"-results but too different to pass validation... |

I have the same "problem" with some of mine results, my AMD K6 III @450 Mhz(=X86 en not a Pentium) against a high speed Pentium IV <img src="http://www.boincstats.com/stats/banner.php?cpid=e91f080afe19b9b3615444a836f40c8f" border="0"> |

Just an Idea, if Boinc seti would sort the users by time of crunching, e.g. fast to slow, it would be more fair to give nearly the same credit to a cruncher group than comparison of slow and fast systems. So its just a matter of calculating and bringing the same people together and than give the, as near as possible, same credit for the same work. Suggestions???
