i read book about hadith ( 50,000 ), book over Islam and scholar of islam.

i read this in book of paper. because in 70th and 80th years, i had no pc.

only amiga commodore in 1989. but at this time, no many religious book.

now it woukd have been easier , because you can have a entire book in pdf,

and with the research mode, you can find a word in 10 secondes.

so you can copy/cut and make a great book in pdf format, with all hadith,

there is also database, for key.....

today, it id easier, because of the web, but i don't know if everything was traducted in your own language. and these traduction must be perfect.

I recall reading an article about a geologist finding arabic writing on a stone outcrop in some desolate location. He couldnt read it but had someone that knew the Arabic and the Arabic reader had difficulty reading it. Why? because the language and changed a bit. Enough to make even a native make mistakes in it. As it turns out it was one of Mohammad's generals that had written the message. IIRC it was that all that one could see belongs to Allah. etc.

The problem with English is that it takes words from other languages and either adopts the word of slightly changes it to its needs. It's pretty easy to find latin, Italian, German, French and other European languages intertwined in English. Heck the word Alphabet is just an adoption of the first to Greek letters Alpha and Beta. What I see wrong with this is the understanding of the words through time. English language words have and do change meaning. 200 years ago you could say you have several faggots cut and stacked in your yard. Today you'd just be arrested for the same comment(No offense intended just a very impressive change in meaning) So when one of us reads a Bible we don't see its original meaning since we are not reading it in its original language. Most Biblical texts were originally written in Greek. Modern English is changing rapidly and the text we read in the Bible is misleading at best when a modern person doesn't understand a phrases meaning because of their modern English mindset.

I can understand how a Muslim would be encouraged to read the Koran in its original language since converting it to another language can alter a meaning drastically. We also know how misinterpreting, a poor understanding of a language, and someone intentionally misguiding the innocent can lead one to see something different in a passage that can lead one down a darker path.
