I have a confession to make. I'm one of those people who never learned to type. This leaves me in the position of pecking away at the keyboard with two fingers. When taking part in a discussion in the forums, there have been times where I have lost everything due to the screen timing out. Can this time be changed to allow those of us with limited skills a chance? |

Seems to be a browser setting. I type with a max of 3 fingers as well, but I've never seen anything time out. Well, not unless the forums go down at such a time. |

It's happened a few times over the past couple of years. After the first couple of times I learned to keep my thoughts brief but there are times where I find myself wishing for more time. So you don't think it could be a time allotment issue from the forums? Thanks |

It's happened a few times over the past couple of years. Are you using a small ISP, that could be the source of the time outs. Do they still do that?? I've never lost a post unless my flaky DSL disconnected. I've gotten into the habit of copying the post before hitting reply/preview on anything that take more than a couple of minutes to compose or else I write it in notepad first.
