This is a tough one, neuroscientists understand so little about the brain that it even seems that cosmologists have more answers or theories than them. The article is quit interesting but not everything seems true or clearly understood for example it doesn,t clearly provide the cascade of neurotransmiters that alcohol trigers of which they are many ,it just mentions the major ones ,secondly it says that children of alcoholics are less prone to be alcoholic due to fact that they start drinking early in life , which its not true its just that the smell of alcohol due to constant interaction with an alcoholic and seeing how alcohol destroys a human being puts them off for life. Many anaethetic agents work in similar ways to alcohol and yet produce very different effects ,some were even discovered by accident and are in use today but no pharmacist or doctor will be able to tell you exactly how they work an example is propfol it was one of the drugs discovered in micheal jacksons home and has been known to cause cardic arrest in some of the people or patients and i personally have seen severely cases with out any known explanation and yet its used daily. There many types of alcohols like methanol (poisonous), and hundreds more and yet they all have very different effects. So lets just enjoy our beers the way its supposed to be ............... micheal killed by propofol We choose to go to the moon and to do other things, we choose to go to the moon not because its easy but because its hard. kennedy |

I think me mum started me early in life....... That sounds almost like a Woody Guthrie song, or the start to something from Simon & Garfunkel... Add music? (Keep off the Coleridge!) Best wishes and good luck, Martin [edit] edited for pre-mod modding! ;-) [/edit] See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

A little alcohol is supposed to be GOOD for the body. Now if it interacts with something that might not be so good. We'll just have to wait to see what, and in what concentrations, was in Michael Jacksons body. We should get something from those autopsies provided his family, etc, allows release. My guess is that he was probably taking too many and too much drugs that interacted and poisoned - perhaps like Elvis in 1977. They were probably in the "Live Fast, Love Hard, Die Young" (Faron Young- C&W- May, June 1955) category. |

MICHEAL JACKSON MURDERED FOR MONEY LONDON (AP)  Two British tabloids quote LaToya Jackson as saying she believes her brother Michael Jackson was murdered as part of a conspiracy to steal his fortune. She reportedly says her brother's assets of more than 1 billion dollars made him a tempting target and that cash and jewelry worth roughly $2 million was taken from his home after his death. Her comments were published Sunday. The News of the World quotes her as saying she knows who is to blame for her brother's death and is determined to see them brought to justice. She also reportedly says her brother did not want to perform 50 shows in London but was pressured to do so. I completely agree with her from the time i read that he was administered propofol ,i knew it because its a perfect medical assasigination tool just like ketamine and thiopental. For those of you who have lots of money please be carefull ,for this wprld is full of vultures just waiting to pounce. We choose to go to the moon and to do other things, we choose to go to the moon not because its easy but because its hard. kennedy |
