EVGA Nvidia 9600 GT KO 256-bit (700MHz clock) 512MB GDDR3 Memory (950MHz clock - 1900MHz effective) 1773MHz Shader Clock 64 Stream Processors 60GB / second memory bandwidth Seems to be pushing through a cuda unit in about just under 30 minutes. Just curious what others results are? |

EVGA Nvidia 9600 GT KO Very dependent on the Angle Range of the WU's. XFX GTX 295 Core Clock: 576 MHz Shader Clock: 1242 MHz Memory: 1792MB Memory Bit Rate: 896 Bit Memory Type: GDDR3 Memory Clock: 2000 MHz Cores: 480 This can take anything from 4.25 minutes to 65 minutes (for VLAR's). The mid-range WU's take from 10 - 12 minutes. F. |

I have a 9800GT. Some tasks take 10 minutes, some take almost 2 hours. |

I have a 9800GT. Some tasks take 10 minutes, some take almost 2 hours. sheesh..those must be the VLARS. Could you take a look at this and scrape some data to plot if you want: Cuda speeds "The most exciting phrase to hear in science, the one that heralds new discoveries, is not Eureka! System: Dell Precision 690 Workstation Dual quad core Xeon Processors 2.66 GHz each 4GB DDR RAM Zotac GTX 295 video adapter Core Clock: 688 MHz Shader Clock: 1380 MHz Memory: 1096 MHz Memory: 1792 MB Memory Bit Rate: 896 Bit Memory Type: GDDR3 Cores: 480 I just installed the GTX 295 card today. I have only Enhanced 6.03 MB units running at this time. It will take some time to work through them unit I get CUDA work. I downloaded a number of AP work, but nothing has started running yet. Each 6.03 task running on the CPU takes about 1:40:00 (one hour, 40 mins.) to complete. Each 6.03 task running on the GPU take about 0:3:00 (3 minutes) to complete. That is quite a difference. Now I can hardly wait to see how long the CUDA work units take after I get some. |

... I thought that 6.03 only runs on the CPU. That is quite a difference. Now I can hardly wait to see how long the CUDA work units take after I get some. If you have tasks running on the GPU, that are CUDA tasks (6.08). Gruß, Gundolf Computer sind nicht alles im Leben. ... Seems a little odd he does have some strange looking tasks that by first glance look like CUDA tasks by the cpu time and credit over claim. this one being an example. The stderr_txt seems to be missing alot of info as it is in other tasks of his. Some don't seem to have any info in them at all, but they're all showing up as 6.03 Edit: found this one of his CUDA and is 6.03 Loos like the CUDA team app clearing up some 6.03 he still had on the sys. |

Edit: found this one of his CUDA and is 6.03 I was a bit baffled by that one as well, last night. But since it was crunched with the CUDA app, shouldn't his app version at the bottom show as 6.08? I wonder what his app_info.xml looks like. |

Edit: found this one of his CUDA and is 6.03 The team app has a 6.03 tag for the transititon to CUDA in the app info file. |
