Suddenly, after months if not years of good behavior, my tasks on a Mac Mini are just stopping themselves and showing the message "Suspended - user active" in the "Status" column. Seti is still running perfectly well on another computer using the same account. I try suspending and resuming tasks, to no avail. I quit the software and relaunch it. No luck. I restart the computer. No joy. I abort and download a new task. Problem does not go away. Suggestions? Thank you. Boinc 6.2.18 on OS X 10.5.6.

Check what your preferences are set to for "Suspend work while computer is in use?" in your computing preferences, or if you are using the BOINC Manager Local Advanced Preferences, what the setting is for "While computer is in use".

The first should be No.
The second should be checked.

The second does override the preferences from the web site. So if you ever just only looked there on this computer and exited that preferences window with any other button than cancel, you are now using the local preferences overriding those of the web site. If you'd rather not use these, click the Clear button.
