Several days ago, one of the tasks my G5 was performing hung. I suspended the culprit and occasionally I resume it to see if if when it restarts computation begins. But nothing happens. The progress stays at 00%. It so happens that this is also listed as a high priority task. The question now is what is the best way to handle the problem. Should I continue to let it attempt to run or should I delete it? If I delete it, should I notify anyone? At the moment I have suspended the task and any suggestions will be appreciated.

This seems to happen from time to time. The only solution is to exit and restart BIONC (or stop and restart if running as a service, don't know if that option is available on Macs).

Just quit the Boinc Manager and then restart it, that should get the task running. If that does not do it, go ahead and abort it.
