My account ID 443808 seems to have dissapeared from your database. I had over 60,000 points and now it's all gone. I was able to create a new account with the old account name and email address but it has no points.

It's still there. As longs as it's showing there, it's still in the database. And since the email address is the unique identifier, you probably made a typo somewhere, on the new account or the old one. You can use the email address only once.

Are you still attached to Seti with the old account?
For if so, you can log in with the account key. To do so, follow the instructions up to the password change in my post here.

I've got the same problem too. Could find any of the credits either. Got certificates for units done too. where did that go?

Probably the same answer as Jord's. I see this account you posted with was just created today, so its obviously not your original account with your previous credits.

sorry i used the wrong email address in trying to recreate the account..
So I changed it to the original address.
The other problem relates to a total system crash around years end (2007). I couldn't get the program to re-install correctly. This time it installed correctly and my old account couldn't be found. Should adding the correct original address connect with the old work units (2543 classic as of July 24/05 probably higher since)? Or just have to do it all over again?

That depends. When you created a new BOINC-SETI account, did you attach your old SETI Classic workunits to that account? If so, those SETI Classic credits are forever tied with that account. Note that SETI Classic credits will not count toward your new SETI Cobblestone credits, but will be a separate stat in your account indicating your participation with SETI Classic.
