I think Obama would have been much better off if he had chosen Clinton as his vice President candidate, then they could have turned out to be a strong team. I don't know which issues he may have with her, which made him chose otherwise. Again, I am not much into American politics and it's quirk, personal likes and dislikes...

There would be a conflict of loyalties with Bill Clinton back in the White House.

Bill Clinton wouldn't be "back" in the White House, he would be the spouse of the Vice President, nothing more.

Oh you have no idea how American political loyalties work.
