after some years of silance i downloaded and installed the new BOINC client. Had no problems. But i do not get any task downloaded.... Looking at the messages, i see the following sequence in a loop: "Sending scheduler request: Requested by user. Requesting 43202nseconds of work,...." "Scheduler request succeeded: go 0 new tasks" when i monitor the netwrok-traffic, i cannot see an error from proxy or else, i see that XML-data is transferred to setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/cgi but no data comes back... So what have i to do to make my SETI@work run again. Thank you, Karl |

The Scheduler Request Succeeded, Got 0 Results message means that the queue of work at the server is temporarily empty. You can always join a second BOINC project to keep your CPUs happy. ![]() ![]() BOINC WIKI |

So Seti is on summer vacation now..... Just a temporary lack of work until someone kicks the splitters to make them produce work units faster. The little bit that is getting produced right now gets distributed immediately, so it's a matter of luck if and when you get some. Boinc V7.2.42 Win7 i5 3.33G 4GB, GTX470 |
