Wow, my PC will have the first weekend off in years. :-(

It's gettin' kinda' ridiculous...

All 3 of my boxen are HT'd P4's. I set my BOINC pref's for 1 cpu so I can run other projects on the other "logical" cpu. Even so, I'm P*****!

If I didn't have this 2 project ability, I'd be REALLY P*****!!!

Enough so, that I'd just run another project until they get this fixed up.

Who wants dedicated DC machines sitting Idle???

Hardware... it's hard (to find one that works) and ware (where) is from a supplier 1000 miles away because no one keeps it in stock. lol

Dont give up!! I just finally got a WU after 24 hours of idle!!
Unfortunately it only gave me one, so I'll be idle in another four hours time, but atleast its something!!

Oh, by the way, are there any other BOINC projects? I signed up for the http://www.climateprediction.net/ BOINC Beta but havent heard back...

Just be patient. We had at Boinc Beta some weeks ago to wait 4 days to have the possibility to download WU's.
Having problems in a starting phase is not a shame.

I just joined today and followed the instructions to install Boinc which was to uninstall seti@home classic now you say we should reinstall seti@home classic. What was the point of releaseing seti@home boinc if they can't release wu's

I have no WU, i downloaded them one at a time but in the middle of this problem i downloaded 1 *scratch head* but only one. But now it seems my pc is going to get cold now at 21C :o because of this :

Well this issue will have to be resolved next week, The memory sticks for the machine that was supposed to handle the web traffic was defective and so we are waiting on replacements before bringing it online

You could always add Predictor@Home to your BOINC settings. Then when you run out of Seti, you can fold a few proteins - that way you're rigs aren't idle! :D

I might just play Q]|[A and get my rank up as i have been sorting BOINC out iv been neglectiong it :D

We are going to upgrade the server to the newest version of the BOINC software since we have big problems with the new client 3.19 (download errors). During this time the system will be down. We plan to be back online by Saturday evening.

Thanks, meadmaker, didn't know about that.
At least my PC is working now - I hated the wait for units

Does anyone know of other DC projects that are using BOINC at this time or plan on using it in the next few months?

I've been lucky so far.

Constant workunits.

Takes me 3 hours to do 1 on my 2400+ though.
