From The Times Strip search: camera that sees through clothes from 80ft away Although it can see objects under clothes, its designers say the images do not show anatomical details Thanks for the Link / Post WinterKnight . . . interestin' and this matter has been Posted a number of times - (which is NOT relevant) - based on the mere fact that this Society is fast becomin' something that quite a number of people had (in the Past), expressed fears of these exact examples were going to occur - and they were right - and there's a guarrantee that it shall even get MORE hi-tech in the near-future . . . and, IF one doesn't want this to happen - Society shall have to band together and have a say-so regarding these matters . . . and i am NOT quite sure whether or not it shall matter - any longer - because they (Society) may bloody well have waited a wee bit too long - as to sayin' something regardin' said matters . . . though one can dream - that they can indeed 'make a difference' - and it may come true ;) BOINC Wiki . . . Perhaps the infrared type. > those that can see through walls - concrete and otherwise - are the 'eyes' in the sky - as in space w/ NSA, Homeland Securities, gov etc . . . those can also tell what you have been eating etc . . . and they read heat signatures also (as in infrared) - those satellites are used in particular situations where advanced Classified (as in 'need to know') situations and aren't used in just general population surveillance - and even IF they get something of the general populace - it's still going on the basis of 'those with need to know' ONLY . . .
