The Berkeley city councils recent despicable action towards serving military persons, reminiscent of the ignorant behavior during Vietnam era, is something I WILL NOT tolerate! I have been with SETI for many years and have done much work. Until the people of berkeley decide to act humanely towards those protecting them, I will no longer associate with SETI, or anything else associated with Berkeley, and will urge all my friends to do likewise. I am ashamed of the people of Berkeley who have allowed this to happen. Steven Byars |

I am ashamed of the people of Berkeley who have allowed this to happen. Now you know how I've been feeling about some of my fellow americans and their actions... ;) (BTW - Does the military use macintosh computers?) It may not be 1984 but George Orwell sure did see the future . . . |
