My MacBook Pro still has work units and is able to upload them. My Mac Pro has no work units, doesn't request any and gets the following messages when trying to download the two work units in the transfers pane.

Just to add, I have stopped and restarted Boinc.

After aborting the transfers and reseting the project, the Mac Pro started downloading and processing work units again.

Strange...

Your solution was more drastic than was necessary.
No aborting or resetting was required.

I had this sort of problem after the SETI outage a couple of weeks ago.
17 tasks in the Transfers page were, in turn, unsuccessfully and repeatedly retrying to download with the percentage not progressing at all. (These percentages would appear to have been "frozen" at the time the outage occurred.)

Just quitting BOINC Manager and restarting would have cured the problem.
On the restart, all my 17 tasks were immediately successfully resent and downloaded within a couple of minutes or so.

Keith,

Thanks. I had actually tried that repeatedly (quitting BOINC Manager and restarting) and rebooting the computer as well, which is why I eventually went with the more drastic solution.
