Hi fellow crunchers On March 24, 2005 Team SETI.USA was created to consolidate United States users and become the #1 SETI Team in the world. This goal was achieved within 24 months of inception thanks to the extraordinary efforts of our dedicated membership. To parlay that effort, and for the benefit of all BOINC distributed computing projects, Team SETI.USA's commitment to extend beyond a single project has begun. SETI.USA is now BOINCing the world! As of September 19, 2007 we reached our second goal of becoming the #1 team in overall BOINC. We are now working on taking #1 in other BOINC projects. We pride ourselves in having the most active message board of any team around. Check it out and you will find some of the most helpful and friendly folks in the DC community ready to help and support you. Hi fellow crunchers Weekend Crunch-a-thon on Cosmology@Home. Team SETI.USA is having a weekend Crunch-a-thon starting December 29th at 0000 UTC (December 28th 1800 CST) for 96 hours ending on January 2nd 0000 UTC (January1st 1800 CST). For those members interested in participating all you need to do is attach to Cosmology@Home and suspend your other projects until the end of the event. Those running large cache settings should consider clearing your caches before the event to insure your client will request work from the project.
