msattler

I have to think about this, currently I am not chasing a job only Seti's Suvival.
Dec of 2006 in private communications with Eric I received a reply from Eric that he would keep the doors open as long as he could. That truly scared me and I went to work making sure that we are still here.

So we still have the chance to keep the "Death Knell" from tolling for Seti... It will take some work!

Eric has mentioned Myself and Simon as two that have been very vocal and producing what Seti needs to survive (Fuzzy, MISFIT are also here). He also mentioned "Others" that are working and talking about that day to day survival, some are/were major contributers to Seti and Bruno those who did not want names mentioned. For my part there were problems that could be solved, I worked to solve those problems.

"We" have a new chance to help insure that the word gets spread that our favorite project needs help. If everyone has the correct information then more people working on the problem it becomes easier to solve the problem... Eric has ask for "helpers" to help with ideas and spreading the word. It becomes Your chance to help in a broader sense. Or Seti works until we find or do not ET! I hate to see it just die because there is no money...

I guess that is why I am here, I believe and refuse to just let Seti die! So if that makes me more famous than others, I am human and guilty... I refuse to let Seti Die beause of lack of funding!

Keep Crunching!

Thank You

Pappa

Pappa don't need an official title. He is the Dude. Unless he would desire a title. Then one should be granted to him. I don't think he wants one, I think he does this out of his desire to further the project. All others may stand down. Pappa, Thank You very much for your efforts!

Good eye. It's not a genuine IBM XT, but an XT compatible (10MHz V20 processor+8087 Coproc, 640K ram, 4MB LIM EMS 4.0, 30MB HDD). Have I mentioned that I intend to port SETI@home to it in my spare time? I'll need to put in a bigger hard disk in order to hold the working set.

I enjoy a challenge.
