There are many teams that would like you to join them. Some want you to become " assimilated " into the collective. Some want you to help them dominate the world.

Recently, a couple have decided to spread out to other projects to make an attempt at continued domination.

There is nothing wrong with that.

However, when a team claims that they are going to " boldly go where no team has gone before "...they are not telling you the truth. They are simply going to be connecting to projects where Calm Chaos has already been for quite a while now.

So if you don't want to become just another member of a team that won't even notice if you join....if you want to be an individual who is appreciated for any contributions you make to a team, then take a look at Calm Chaos.

We are already almost everywhere you want to crunch.

Why wait for a team to show up, when we are already there?

If you are not currently on a team....and are thinking about joining one...you are free to come and check out our forums and our website. We will not shut you out, or MAKE you join our team just to take a look around.

Everyone is welcome. Although..at this point...there are some folks who are making themselves an exception to that rule.

All I have to say is that it's one thing to send some one a Private Message with an invite to join a team. It's something entirely different when some one takes the time to speak with me about the team, the program, and other casual conversation topics.

This is the reason I joined Calm Chaos.

Not only did Knightmare take the time to speak with me personally-

BUT

I felt like I was speaking with a perspective friend as opposed to being interviewed for a position.
There was no bragging, no smudging of other groups, and especially no ego stroking of the team. Which I appreciated.

Which leaves me to suggest that other groups tone down and smooth out the bragging, bashing, etc. Those are the two BIGGEST turn-offs - at least for me.

If you can't promote your organization without bashing another one or you deam it necessary to stroke your group's ego by splashing your site with all sorts of bragging- I don't want to be a part of that group.

Don't get me wrong, success and back patting is a great thing. But when I visit a site and the first several items is see are "We Beat This Team or That Team". That tells me that you're in it to compete and you only care about the numbers, crunching, and masses.

People are probably sitting at their computers some shaking their heads, some agreeing- some thinking that I'm talking out my *** and don't know what I'm talking about.

That's fine- everyone is entitled to their opinion- just as I am entitled to pleaced my crunches and membership where I choose.

And of course there are those who just plain and simply need to GROW UP.
