The problem I see with illegal immigrants from south of the border is their penchant for left leaning idealogy that they wish to implement here. Because of their culture and politics they've ruined their own countries so they flee north only to look over the political landscape in stupefying fashion and demand that the U.S. implement the same disastrous policies that they fled from in the first place.

They receive scholarships to universities that no U.S. citizen is able to receive BECAUSE they are illegals. Politicians, especially in California, instruct them in how to ILLEGALLY vote in elections. They receive welfare payments while illegal, all funded by ME and every other taxpaying CITIZEN. They import violent criminal gang culture, filling our streets with violent bloodshed. Their leaders openly proclaim that they are 'reoccupying' the western United States. They wield political clout over school systems and thwart efforts by them to require english be taught.

Need I say more? I can keep going.

But yes that's BS. And it doesn't happen only in USA, illegal inmigrants are taken advantage of everywhere; specially by the freaking politicians.

Here is a thought for you Diego. If it was 20 MILLION IRISH people coming over the border and demanding things that they have no REASONABLE right to, then it wouldn't be Mexicans at the center of this discussion. The discussion would be the same regardless of the race of people coming across our borders and breaking the law and THEN expecting us to bow down and make things easier for them.

The " average US citizen " as you put it, does not despise Mexicans. What a whole lot of us DO despise is people who break the law and then want, DEMAND, handouts and concessions.

One of the reasons that the average CITIZEN in this country can't afford healt insurance is because very few of the illegals have ANY kind of insurance. So when THEY go to a hospital, the hospital just has to eat the cost of treating them. Unfortunately the hospitals can't turn them away because some genius lawyer would sue them. Think about this, if the millions of illegals can't pay their hospital bills, then SOMEONE has to. Guess who that someone happens to be.

1. They're not 'undocumented'. Undocumented means a clerk missplaced someone's legitimate papers someplace. They're illegals.

So when THEY go to a hospital, the hospital just has to eat the cost of treating them. Unfortunately the hospitals can't turn them away because some genius lawyer would sue them. Think about this, if the millions of illegals can't pay their hospital bills, then SOMEONE has to. Guess who that someone happens to be.

Yes I understand what you are saying. I don't know why but I think you guys are somehow under the impression that I'm defending illegal inmigration. I'm not.

In fact, if it was up to me I'd be a lot harsher on the illegals. But I'd ALSO act on having better legislation to handle the situation. But not just the present consequences. Problems have to be tackled at the root.

No worries Diego. I wasn't under the assumption that you were defending it.

Bringing us a point of view from another country with the same kind of problem ( although perhaps not the VOLUME ) is appreciated.

As far as legislating to handle the situation...perhaps you should look up how our government works. I have yet to see the government in this country effectively legislate anything. There is far too much party biased politics for anything to get done properly.
