That site is very well done. I applaud the hard work that went into it.

I like your team site too! I switched from phpbb and phpnuke sites because they were kind of hard to modify and finding themes was tough too.

I switched to Simple Machine Forums, and Tiny Portal so I could do more and still have cool features. They ahve a bunch of themes too and a conversion kit from phpbb to smf.

Hi again Byron
I am very proud to say I decided to join your team.
I am very upset because only one (optimistic saying) percentage of my friends heard about Carl Sagan and so less people known about special feeling when looking to the stars. I think you are also one.
I am very upset because few billions of people living on this planet, and only few... is trying to do something, I mean something huge important, not politics or eat (I don't say here about people having nothing to eat).
I was very upset because, until now, I haven't a good enough computer to contribute to work promoted by Sagan. Now, I have one and I hope I will never stop it, even if know that is impossible. I am very upset because we have so limited in time and resources... for everything. Though, we try a minute and I am very happy finding here others people trying important things, in memory and not only memoriam, but alive spirit of Carl Sagan.

I am thinking to join the one of Carl Sagan dedicated teams, in memory and respect of him.
First what I have find here on the Seti was your BYRON LEIGH HATCH_(FOR CARL SAGAN)) team.

But I see no computers of this team running on the last month.

I am looking into wrong direction? Or, what is happening?

yes you are quite correct __ I'm not crunching SETI@home Main at the present time.

I'm crunching only one project at the present time _SETI@home / Beta Testing for / Multibeam / SETI@home Enhanced 5. 19 / AstroPulse 4.12_

the reason being , I want to devote my small amount of resource four (4) computers to , SETI@home / Beta Testing for / Multibeam / SETI@home Enhanced 5.19 / AstroPulse 4.12

I thought , this is the best way I can show my great respect for Dr Carl Sagan :-)

to help all I can get SETI@home / Multibeam / AstroPulse / out the door of Beta Testing / and over to SETI@home Main Site :-)

so that , my 13 CPU's can test , the new Seti applications as soon as they are available :-)

I don't care about Credits :-)

Very worthy endeavor. Sorry I can’t join. Already part of team Seti.USA. I was privileged to have Carl as a professor in College. His tutelage is one of the reasons that I crunch and star gaze. I even named a street after him. If you don’t have a team, consider this one. Carl Sagan did more for astronomy, Seti, and the understanding of what life in the universe could be than anyone alive.
