bash-2.03$ ./boinc --attach_project http://setiathome.berkeley.edu

bash-2.03$ ./boinc -attach_project http://setiathome.berkeley.edu
Segmentation Fault (core dumped)

I have connectivity OK to http://setiathome.berkeley.edu
I suppose I need to manually attach? When I start the client it just sits there:

This is on both Solaris 8 and 10 running on a V210.

./boinc --attach_project http://setiathome.berkeley.edu
Segmentation Fault (core dumped)

This behavior st is a known problem, it will happen when you use the attach project option without any Accountkey.
You have got to enter your account key, which you get mailed from the project after the project URL : ./boinc --attach_project http://setiathome.berkeley.edu $ACCOUNT_KEY
