./boinc_4.32_i686_solaris10 -attach_project http://setiathome.berkeley.edu key

You have changed key in the key, which you have get mailed from the project, in the command above ?

You can try following procedure as alternative attachment to the project...

Stop the boinc client and change into the directory, where the boinc client is installed.
Create a file account_setiathome.berkeley.edu.xml in this directory, with following content :
<account>
    <master_url>http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/</master_url>
    <authenticator>$ACCOUNT_KEY</authenticator>
    <project_name>SETI@home</project_name>
<project_preferences>
</project_preferences>
</account>

Change $ACCOUNT_KEY int the file to the account key you have get mailed from the project.
After this, start the boinc_client without any options.

Easyiest way to avoid further trouble is to copy the account_setiathome.berkeley.edu.xml from one of your linux boxes over to your solaris box.
