Hello,
I'm under Linux.
When I make a ps -aux , I have 95 % on the CPU for setiathome_4.02_i686-pc-linux-gnu. Is it normal or is it too much ? Can I reduce this ?
Thanks
Antoine

It is OK/normal.
The seti app will run at nice level 19, this is the lowest priority. If a other application (for example standard priority) need the CPU, the unix scheduler will give it the cpu time, and reduces the cpu util of the seti app.

I think there is no need of reducing it, if your CPU or system did not overheat. With a cpulimiter (http://marlon80.interfree.it/cpulimit/index.html) it is also posible.
