How can i store host/password combinations in boinc-manger? Everytime i want to connect to my running boinc-client on localhost, i first get the message "The password you have provided is incorrect, please try again." and then i have to extract the password from $boincdir/gui_rpc_auth.cfg and use that password to connect to my boinc_client. Any ideas? |

You can type in your password into the gui_rpc_auth.cfg. If you wan't no password, enter a single CR Sign (=Return/Enter) into this file. It is not posible to store host/password conbination within the boincmanager. |

In addition to the previous answers and because your solely on Linux you should have a look at boincphpgui It works in your web browser and you can create a bookmark for each of your machines. It requires a web server and php though. |
