I am amazed that no one took up the banner to argue that the "Plan to Destroy America" isn't actually harming America. Each of those points is actually happening (although there is plenty of room for debate on the details), and no one has made a substantive defense of any of them. Es99 pointed out that it is phrased in language of questionable taste, but that's it.

This is NOT ... emphatically NOT ... intended to start a flame war! ... But it is intended to provoke some sort of RATIONAL reaction .....

Does Israel have Nuclear weapons?
Does Israel have a Nuclear programme?

Answer those two questions and you will answer why Iran sees fit to hoist two fingers at all who try to prevent them from being on an equal footing.

I have absolutely NO doubt at all, that WERE Iran to be a US compliant Country - as in, were the Shah to still be in power - there would be zilch problem ...

This seems to be a very one-sided question ... and PRIMA FACIE - a two-faced US attitude. For IF Israel has a Nuclear capability, then there is NO logical reason why the rest of the Middle East should not be allowed to strive for the same ends. Blind Freddie knows that the US will defend Israel (because if it did not, US-Jewish interests could and would) ... shut down America in an instant. So why the need for Israel to have its own deterrant? Far from being a deterrant, the US attitude in allowing Israel to Nuclear-arm itself ... is at the very heart of the present problem ...

Well ... that is my view. I am in my bunker, with my tin-foil hat on and waiting for the shout of "INCOMING!!!!!!!!"
;-)))))))

Israel has had nuclear weapons since the early '60s. She will only use them as a weapon of last resort to assure the survival of her people, and barring that, to reap revenge for any who would visit another holocaust upon them (doomsday). The Iranians on the other hand have stated that they seek the destruction of Israel by any and all means. You can't compare the two.

More to the point, Israel has been invaded since it acquired nuclear weapons and has not used them.

As sure as certain they did not have nuclear weapons when Egypt invaded (1967) - which land, after the 6 day war, Israel kept ... until they gave it back in 1982 after the Camp David accords.
It was Israel who invaded Syria in 1967 to get control of the Golan heights ... because they commanded a view down to Tel Aviv ...
It was Israel who invaded the West Bank (again in 1967) and took it away from Jordan.
Hamas and the PLO were Internal Palestinian organisations which could hardly be accused of invading the very country they lived in ...
Any more?

Does this somehow change the fact that in 1973 they were invaded and did not use nuclear weapons to defend themselves?

BOYCOTT THE 'GRINGO'

Van Crashes With 54 Suspected Illegal Immigrants Inside

As for me, I'm going to spend some of my gringo dinero. I just hit the local 7-11 for snacks and drinks. Now I'm going clothes shopping and grocery shopping. Then gas up both vehicles. Boycott THIS!

Nothing like a rewrite of history...yes Israel struck first because the Arabs were getting ready to attack them in a few days, remember the Arabs told the UN to get their troops out of the way. It was a military decision and a good one.
