I'm not updating it yet. Going to wait for FF extension manager to pick it up to help make sure that part is working for you tekwyzrd.

Thanks. I'm running v0.2.0 here as well waiting for the extension to hit the mozilla server. That doesn't mean I haven't run v0.2.1. After testing v0.2.1 I downgraded to v0.2.0 to find out if Firefox detects the new version. I wonder how long the approval process takes for a new extension.

I have a suggestion tekwyzrd. When the boinc totals are displayed and you click on it, it shows the xml document tree. Could you set it up so that it shows the actual page instead? It is the same url as the document tree but with '&html=1' at the end. Is it possible for the '&html=1' to be added when clicking through to the site? Don't think I need to tell you that is without the quotes ;)

Done. Thanks.
I'll post a link as soon as the problem with the sourceforge server is resolved.

OK, I've found a couple working sourceforge servers.
They seem pretty unstable right now.

BOINC Stats v0.2.2.1 is available here and here.
It has been uploaded to mozilla and is awaiting approval.
Thanks to Steve Cressman for the suggestion regarding the xml tree display problem.

BOINC Stats now has a home on mozdev. The pages are still under construction but are functional with information and instructions available. I'm still waiting for approval from the Firefox Extensions site. I'm holding off on any new versions until the approval process is completed. I'm hoping to expand the browser support to include the Mozilla and Sea Monkey suites in the near future.

The extension manager still says 'no updates found' but I'll keep tryin' and let you know when it does happen. Also the search for 'BOINC Stats' on the FireFox add-ons page reports:

Addon Search

There are currently no results. Please use the options above to adjust your search terms.

So I guess getting a home on Mozdev is just the first step in a mutli part process.

Edit: Looks good to see the page up there at Mozdev just the same :)

I got BOINC stats 0.2.2 running on FireFox 1.5.0.2 on Mac OS X PPC. So far so good !-) If I have time, I'll try to get Camino to run it.

This is GREAT. Works well on 1.5.0.3 on a Windows Xp machine. This is just what I was looking for. Thank you very much!

Hey tek, I have linked to mozdev on my website. May as well get as much coverage as possible, huh....? (-:<

[edit] I no longer have a link to your SourceForge, and will maintain the link to mozdev alone. [/edit]

Thanks. With the server problems I encountered the other night (or morning) when I uploaded v0.2.2.1 I thought it prudent to find a new home for the extension. mozdev seemed a logical choice.

Sorry for the delay in response. My computer's been acting funny. It looks like it's time for a new motherboard. CPU0 slot seems to have developed a problem so I'm down to one processor for now.

Glad to hear it.
I rolled back to v0.2.0 here to test the update detection.
It worked fine here too.

For the next version I plan on a fairly major revision. If it goes well you'll be able to launch project home pages by clicking on the project's icon in the status bar. Then I'll work on having it display team stats.

I downloaded the Firefox extension and it seems to be installed, but the info box (lower right) only says "Account Number Not Set". How do I set it?

I've been away from the keyboard for a bit.
Thanks for answering his question.

There are fairly comprehensive instructions on the extension's page but maybe I should have an instructional file displayed when the browser starts after the extension is installed. I'll add it to the to do list for the next version.

OK - I got it. thanx.
BUT
It doesn't like my S@H account number. I used my user number (found on the My Account section of the website). Did you mean the account key? That long string...?

When you add some documentation, please include a short section on where to find the various account numbers, keys, etc since they are all over the place.

I've updated the extension's page to include info on how to find the cross-project ID and Account numbers.
