Hi tekwyzrd,

I just installed your new version and it works for all the projects I'm crunching. When I entered my account numbers again I noticed that you haven't gotten around to fix the alignment in the options dialog. Since I fixed that already in the version I used until today I could send the modifications to you to save you some work. I didn't post it earlier because you already had a modified version with additional projects out and I didn't want to confuse everyone. So if you want them just let me know where to send them.

Though not perfect I did make changes to the options alignment.
Sure, if you don't mind I'd like to take a look at your changes.
I can be reached via the name I use in the seti fora at gmail dot com.

I don't see any problem with the options dialog box in v0.1.0. Looks like all the text is aligned to the left with their check boxes and the account boxes are aligned left. Looks nice and tidy to me :)

The BOINC Stats extension has been revised.
The changes are as follows:

*Options box rearranged*
*PrimeGrid added*
BURP added

Thanks to starfire for *these* revisions.

BOINC stats v0.1.1 is currently propogating to the sourceforge mirrors.
Initially the most likely sources will be those in the US.
To follow sourceforge guidelines it was necessary to add a date or version number to the filename.
I opted to use the date, so the file is boincstats_060208.xpi

Dude, I believe that there can be much confusion with the version I have for download and your version. I'm thinking that I should put a halt to mine and either link to yours or just let you go with sourceforge. What do you think? I'll leave it up to you. I already got rid of the link in my sig. Let me know.... (-:<

Arrgh.. I didn't think about the file you have.
I'll go to a version identified installer for the third and (hopefully) final pre-release version.
Yeah, if you don't mind linking the download page I'd appreciate it.

There will be one more version (probably this weekend) before I upload to mozilla. I still want to do a little more reorganization in the options box, resolve the lhc problem, and add entries for a user's BOINC stats, WCG and it's projects, and Malaria Control.

The next version has been delayed a couple of days due to recent RAID problems which necessitated some time spent on troubleshooting and a linux reinstall. I'm hoping the problem has been resolved.

One other thing.....the update frequency, although set to .5 hrs, does in my experience take some time to actually sync. with the web sites current total! can this be addressed or is it an xml issue?.
the pages are only generated every so often, they're not "live" as such, so you might as well set the interval to a few hours

also please note that the extension uses the xml version of pages, not the HTML, each version isn't updated at the same time, so they may be different sometimes

I've increased it to 2 hours.

Could you add the BBC Climate Change Experiment (http://bbc.cpdn.org/) to the list of projects?

I have been debating this matter and am still not sure whether to do so or not. I seem to remember reading somewhere that the Climate Prediction sub projectes are included in the main program totals.

other opinions or info?

I've been a bit scatter-brained lately due to the fact that just three weeks ago today I took up non-smoking. There are a number of changes I plan to make once my concentration has improved, including a re-organization of the options and (when I figure out how to best accomplish this) tabbed project categories (for categorization of alpha, beta, and release version projects).

Thanks for the update! I think there are many like me that could only get into Malaria when it went beta. My beta User ID does not work for the Alpha stat. Could it be updated for the Beta version?

At this point all projects I participate in are covered save for WCG and Xtrem. WCG is fairly popular and I think should be considered for inclusion. Xtreme is not really, and as Linux only at this point, probably not be worth the trouble.

I'll be working on an update for this weekend that will include the Malaria Control change. As for WCG, well, I'm not sure how their stats are handled, or if it's dumped to xml like the true BOINC projects. I'm not going to sign up just to find out. I have a very strong instinctive distrust of this supposedly "non-profit" organization. They're too corporate-looking and have far too much money to be truly "non-profit" But, since it's been requested more than once, if you could post a link to your stats page I'll try to include WCG stats capability to the next version.

I've been running Xtreme for the last couple days.
It will be included on the next version.
I'll be working on it tomorrow (later today?).
