BOINC includes its own cache so you nolonger need an add-on for cache management. To adjust the size of your cache from the SETI@home home page click on the perferences link listed under the Your Account menu. Then click on the "View or edit general preferences" link. Then scroll down to the item called "Connect to network about every" and adjust the number of days. The more days the bigger your cache. This will be automatically updated in your BOINC client the next time it connects with the server.

Currently there are no new Work Units available from SETI@home until they finish the work on the database merge. Once this is done you will be able to get new WUs to fill your cache.

Not necessarily a cache program, however you can have an abundance of work stored on your computer. To do so, go to "Your Account" at the top the the webpage. From there, click on "View or Edit General Preferences". Scroll down and click on "Edit Preferences". Scroll down again to "Network Usage", and look for "Connect to network about every" and the number located there is the amount of days your computer will more or less "cache". If your strictly running SETI, you can set this quite high, I believe some people say no more than about 7-8 days, of course this depends on how fast your computer goes through a WU. If your running multiple projects, you will want this setting way down. I'm attached to 7 projects, and have my connect settings set at .5 days, which gets me 2 WU's per project.

After you set your preferences, click on "Update Preferences". Open your BOINC manager, click on the "Projects" tab, highlight SETI@Home, click on update, and your done. :-) Hope this helps.

To expand a little bit, there is NO remote caching of units like in Classic. EACH machine must have its own cache for now. This has been asked for many many times but is just a high enough priority. In time it should come.
