The World Council of Churches represents Protestant, Anglican, Orthodox and other Christian churches in more than 100 countries.

That's always what I thought it was. To tell the truth, I think Tom would be devastated if something happened to his arch nemesis. They need each other ;-)

Aah! A little pseudo-psychology in the morning. But tell me, how is Jeffy-poo my "arch nemisis"? He just got here, I have him on "ignore" and I have never asked him to leave. If anyone here is an "enemy", it would be Pauly-poo (Jeffy-poo's soul-mate?), who has been here way too long for the work he has contributed, who is also on ignore, and (this is, for me, his worst offense)who has never been able to back up any of the charges he has leveled at the current administration or anyone else to the right of mahatma Gandhi.

Yes, I agree, the linear thing was my failing, not yours. I just wanted you to see why I was confused.

And no, Jeffy-poo is not my nemesis, arch- or otherwise. I have to admit, though, to a little pre-emptive filtering in his case. Perhaps he didn't deserve it to the same extent as Pauly-poo, but it seemed to me he was going in the same direction.

And as for the diminuative suffix I use for each of them, some may see their use as terms of endearment, but they can also be used to address persons of lesser maturity, capabilities or status. You decide.
