Since running the program for nearly 24hrs now i have never actually seen any screen saver? is there anyway i need to change the setings?

To be sure Boinc is set as screensaver, go to "Control panel", "Display", tab "Screensaver" and check that Boinc is set as the screensaver.

Check also that the waiting time for starting the screensaver is longer then 3 minutes as the default setting for the general preferences is to start running the application only after 3 minutes of idle time for the host, unless this has been changed since I’m running Boinc.

For info, I don’t use the screensaver at all as it is a waste of CPU power.
