i have boinc installed, but doesn't look like it is grabbing the seti client. THe directory is there in the /BOINC/projects directory, but it is empty.

here is what is spit out when boinc is running

Looks like your system could not connect to the setiathome servers.
Is your nameresoulution OK ? - You can verify it with "nslookup setiathome.berkeley.edu"
Can you connect to the seti servers on port 80 ? - Try a "telnet setiathome.berkeley.edu 80" - If you get a prompt, type in "GET /".
Do you have a firewall installed between the affected system and the internet ?

There was also a outage of the seti servers from 5th to 6th January. The servers are gone online yesterday evening (about 22:00 UTC). So it could be, that you have tried to connect within this outage.
