Thought it would be appropriate to start a thread for today, and have everyone post their New Years Resolutions.

Mine:

Work more, get paid more, pay off bills, become debt free, and buy more computers. Spend more time with the family, celebrate anytime I can.

Add away everyone. And once again, Happy New Years to you all!! Onward to another year of crunching!!!

Roll back clocks by one second (Already accomplished)

Hack protein folding at home to produce dodos, saber-tooth tigers, wooly mammoths, and Jesus. Start a theme park.

Get a hurricane named after me.

Build a time machine using a Vespa that runs on aspirin, go back in time to 1919, patent the PageRank, transistor technology, and the binary digit. Retire in 9191 with a gogol-dollar retirement fund.

Develop and deploy µZaq Linux - The "Elevator, Bathroom, and Automated Unannounced Telephone Hold Music Wireless Warrantless Data Mining Embedded Microkernel for W, W, and W"

But most importantly, piss everyone off more than I did last year 'cuz for some of you it wasn't enough.

Years and years ago I vowed to make no more New Year's resolutions. That's the only one I've ever needed since then.

Why must you continue like this? Was this just a ruse on you part? It sure seems that way. We're starting a new year here, let's drop the trolling....

Oh. :-(

I thought you were sorry for pissing people off. I didn't realise you were bragging. I mistook you, Misfit.

It happens. Beg pardon. I shouldn't have made a joke about it. My mistake.

But seriously. That's what I thought you meant, that you don't like pissing people off. Was I wrong?

It's all about context. In the context of how you appear on the boards, and how I appear. I appear to piss you off, it's mostly not deliberate, just a natural gift. There is the beauty of the joke you see..and you, likewise make a similar joke on how you are perceived on the boards. Then the question becomes, was it a joke? Perhaps you weren't joking, perhaps I wasn't. Perhaps you were bragging about pissing people of and perhaps I wasn't joking about pissing you off.

It is at this point where people make a choice...and they believe what they want to believe.

I want to believe that you are sorry about pissing people off.
You want to believe that my goal in life is to piss you off.
Siran wants to believe that I'm trolling.

So back to the question, because you see, my tiny text and my large text are inextricably linked.

What should I believe?

Very well. I've already said what I want to believe, so I'll take that as your answer. :-)

Just make sure your boat is a luxury cruise liner and you'll do great.

We were waiting for you over at the TFFE board for a nice chat, but you went away. :-(
