setiathome -stop_after_xfer setiathome -stop_after_process I had made a script that did this: infinite loop dialed-in check for valid connect, if not, retry transfer seti unit, get new unit and quit (setiathome -stop_after_xfer) disconnect from net process new unit, quit when done (setiathome -stop_after_process) end loop Thanks for the help. |

Nothing seems to pop out as how I would get something similar to work from this page. Any other docs? Thanks, Vinh |

I used a very similar-sounding script with Classic, because my network connection is an on-request (not on-demand) dial-up (using diald(8)). I too am very baffled, and do not yet see a way of acheiving a similar effect with BOINC. One *guess* at the moment is to periodically poll using "boinc_cmd get_<stuff>" and parse the output to determine when to bring the link up (and then to also, probably, issue the correct commands, such as "update"(?) to boinc). But that is just a guess, and I have not tried it yet. |
