Hello, I have been trying to run boinc and seti in a Sparc server, I'm able to attach to the project but no work is done. The problem seems to be that the executable for seti is damaged: file setiathome_4.02_sparc-sun-solaris2.7 can't read ELF header setiathome_4.02_sparc-sun-solaris2.7: And that is why the wrok units keep restarting. Are there any short term plans to fix this? Thanks P.S. Any plans to officially support Solaris x86? |

Can you try to stop the boinc client, delete the binary, and start the boinc client again. If there is no binary in the projects directory, the boinc_client will download it again.
No. Berkeley has no resources to support it. But on the third party site (boinc.berkeley.edu/download_other.php) are binaries for solaris x86 available. |
