it's very customizable...with FIREFOX you can utilize a multitude of handy extensions...load web sites faster (especially if you add the "fasterfox" extension...there are many different themes you can choose from to give FIREFOX a different look...do what i did...just download FIREFOX and try it for yourself...

It's faster, smaller, better, more secure, more inuitive, and has third party extension support to expand the capabilities of the browser. In other words, it stomps on IE.

Unless I'm missing something somewhere, I'd like to see a Bookmark/Favorites system like the one in MSIE. I like to use my browser in full screen mode and hide the menu bars. In MSIE You can have the hidden Bookmark/Favorites list slide out from the left and I don't have to go up and click Bookmarks. I can just move my cursor over and slide out that list. Fast and easy. Like I said, am I missing something in Firefox? Any answer...Bueller...Bueller...?

Isn't there an extension somewhere that offers that?

No, Firefox is the best browser!

I prefer IE, and I generally don't listen to people who state their prefeences as absolutes. It reminds me of all the Mac fanatics that say "My computer is better than yours" but can't tell me why because they don't really know. I have tried lots of Mozilla products down through the years and I still refer IE. I could tell you why but I doubt anybody here cares what I have to say.

Firefox gives you more control - I think it's worth it for the AD-Block plugin alone - be sure to get it (unless you like ads of course!).

Tabbed browsing is another great option - you can get it with IE but you need to install MSN desktop search. I've done that, but it's nowhere near as fast as the Google desktop search option.

I have to use IE for one particular site - if not for that, it'd be Firefox all the way.
