Who is the brains of this opperation? It should be simple, I've donated thousands of hours to the original seti screensaver, I transfered and set up new account, THE SCREENSAVER DOES NOT WORK or even show up, it says suspended. Way to complicated once again. You people made a mistake hirering who ever.

I'm uninstalling.

Works on thousands of other hosts, but if you must go, go silently into the night and thanks for all the hours.

I agree! This thing is WAY to complicated. I also have done over 6000 hours of work with the old SETI & now can't do ANYTHING. I tried signing on to a new project on the assumption that SETI was having problems but am unable to do any work at all. BOINC sits there & tells me its idle - DUH! No S--T! & nowhere is there a RESTART button or something that the average computer person can understand. I think you folks have made a big mistake with BOINC as it is now configured. The original idea of using a screensaver to crunch data was brilliant but to work you've got to make it almost as easy to use as any other screensaver.

We are experiencing heavy traffic on our data server. This is currently preventing some result uploads, but is getting better over time. More in Technical News.

We have turned off work distribution for a bit to allow result uploads to catch up. We will be extending the deadline for returning results so that the troubles with the result upload handler will not result in lost credit.

So, no one is able to download work.
If your BOINC is sitting idle, then attach to another project, that is why BOINC was made. Mine isn't sitting idle, with a choice of 3 PrimeGrid units, 1 Einstein, 1 Seti Beta and 2 uFluid units.
