Hello all: When I try to run the boinc sh file I get the following message: /usr/X11R6/bin/X: /usr/X11R6/bin/X: cannot execute binary file ?
I am logged on a su?
Fedora Core 4 OS
boinc_5.2.13_i686-pc-linux-gnu.sh

Possible you misread the instruction?

As I remeber the comand to install BOINC is:

sh boinc_5.2.13_i686-pc-linux-gnu.sh

You need the right to create a BOINC folder in the folder where you execute the installation file. Or you may create a folder BOINC there with su and make it owned by the user who install and run BOINC.
