Boinc already running on one machine, trying to install it on a 2nd but keep getting "internal error 2718 {5A57A914-D47B-4E7E-9C82-BAF26ADB8A12}. Please help.

Please leave your operating system.
Which version of BOINC you are trying to install.

Make sure you have Windows Installer 3.1 (MSIExec.exe). Get it from Windows Update. Your Internal Error 2718 is a Windows Installer error.

Desktop system, OS is Windows 2000 Professional w/all updates. Version of BOINC is 5.2.12.

Already have BOINC running on a laptop with Windows 2000 Professional, and it is running fine.

I'll do some further reasearch into the Windows Installer error.
