One of my laptops seems to have shut itself off while I was away. Now that it's back up and running, I see that there are 2 overdue workunits; one is currrently running and the other is next in line. Since I (assume) know that they are both already past deadline, how do I stop the one from running and remove both of them from my stash? Eban. |

You don't really need to... If they complete before the "retransmitted" version, you'll get credit (or should)! They might be sitting at the end of someone else's 2 week cache! If it is was a problem, BOINC itself should just toss them, but it doesn't.. You are however betting that you'll get done before a "reissued" version! The "reissued" WU's will get zero credit, if you get there first! |

The > "reissued" WU's will get zero credit, if you get there first! > Actually the reissued WUs will get credit anyway. If you don't want to take the chance that you will return your WU before the verifier gets around to verifying the replacement WU, you can reset the project. If running the GUI, right click on the project in the projects tab, and select reset. DO NOT DETATCH, it is a real pain if you detatch. ![]() |
