Message 198769 - Posted: 29 Nov 2005, 19:41:40 UTC

After rebooting, I started up the seti@home software. No work is being done when the work tab is selected. On the projects tab, I see a message of :Scheduler request pending" under the status column. How do I get the work started again?

Have you tried to update the project manually?
Since I don't use the GUI you'd have to locate the appropriate menu entry by yourself.

If this doesn't help, try to post what messages are shown in your message tab,
preceding the error.

Regards Hans

Hi Scott,

try upgrading to the latest version (5.2.13). This one has fixed a lot of quirks that showed up lately.

It has also been recommended to delete the old version before installing the new one.

If this doesn't help, quit the boinc GUI and try attaching from the command line with:
"./boinc -attach_project http://setiathome.berkeley.edu <your account key>"

Regards Hans

I did. I deleted the project and then add it back in. Then got the message of a missing account key.

Hi,
have you tried attaching from the command line, using the "boinc" executable?
